After a warm-up run across Canada, Wayne Cho began his 16,000 mile trek around the world to raise awareness about mental illness from Vancouver BC, Canada on January 1, 2012.

Wayne developed anxiety and bipolar disorders as a result of neglect and abuses he experienced throughout his childhood. At the age of 30, Wayne took up long distance running, an activity that provided both relief from his anxiety symptoms and the confidence to dream. Bestowed with the greater purpose of raising awareness for a cause that affects millions, Wayne quit his job and sold his belongings in 2008 to complete a 5,400 mile run across Canada. Now, Wayne is stepping it up by running across 4 continents and 22 countries in three years to talk openly about mental illness.
